In 1963 Jack Lees first opened Kitchen Fair in a small showroom in the Pines Plaza Shopping Center in Pittsburgh's North Hills. It was't long before he moved to a larger (and the most recent) location at Elfinwild Road & Route 8. In 1964 his son Jim joined him and worked his way through all aspects of the business and eventually into sales. In 1979 Jack retired & sold Kitchen Fair to Jim who, to this day, owns the business.

Jack's Eldest son, Jack Jr., has been with the business as a cabinet maker since the 1960's. Jack Jr. supervises the warehouse and shipping & receiving.

Denny Pfeifer, Jack Jr's son-in-law, serves as Kitchen Fair's head salesman.

Alliene Lees, Jim's wife, handles the accounting for the company.
